Why host an event in your space?
If you have a business or classroom space that would be a great fit to host a class, workshop, or market then let’s talk! The typical Chicago Craft + DIY public event has anywhere from 10-30 participants, depending on the project, most of whom are women from 25-55 years old. You gain exposure through the social media event listing, paid promotions, and through email blasts to my growing email list. This is a great opportunity for you to show off your space/shop/venue, and charm a group of women with your outstanding service.
How does it work?
We pick a date, time, and appropriate project for your space. I set up a listing in my shop, create a Facebook event and make you a co-host, and start promoting. From there, we both share the event on social media, but then I take care of the rest. I supply all the materials, handle all the registrations, and handle all the logistics. I’ll check in with you as we get closer to the event to let you know the # of people registered. On craft day, you provide the space, I take care of the rest!
What should you expect the day of your event?
When your event day rolls around, I’ll show up 30-45 minutes prior to the event to set up. Guests will arrive and check in, then we’ll get crafting. I also take care of all the clean up!
NOTE: If your venue is a bar/restaurant, I will encourage participants to order a drink or grab food to enjoy while they work on their project. This is your chance to shine by providing outstanding service, drinks, and food – which leads to return customers. This is the secret to turning a craft night into a success for your business!
